Where do you get cheap rims?

One of the first places to look for cheap rims is the local auto salvage yard. Many cars that have been in a wreck, may come to the yard, but would still have good rims. Yard owners know there is a market for such rims and would retrieve them before they finally scrap the car. So getting in touch with them could get you some very cheap rims. You of course need to make sure that the size of the rims is the right one for your own vehicle. Also check the rims to see that they do not have any bends as this could affect the running of your car and tire wear in future.

There are also wheel shops that take trade ins when they are selling their new products. These trade ins could come to you relatively cheaply. Of course as usual you need to check the suitability for your car and also the condition of this trade in rim. Repair shops may also be another source of cheap rims as quite often customers may insist on changing the rims when they are getting their car repaired after an accident.

Then there is always the Internet, where you can get cheap rims. You can even advertise your requirement and it is quite likely you would get a response from interested parties. Also checking local classifieds in the newspaper may also lead you to some cheap used rims.
